On December 12, 2018, our career event took place at the Fraunhofer Center. In the Fraunhofer Escape Game, the students were able to fend off a hacker attack while also getting to know our institutes and career opportunities in sessions and the joint networking part. #FraunhoferEscapeGame

Career Night with Fraunhofer Escape Game

12 December 2018, 5 p.m. - 11 p.m.

On December 12, the two Fraunhofer Institutes in Kaiserslautern - the Institute for Experimental Software Engineering IESE and the Institute for Industrial Mathematics ITWM - organized a career night. From 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., over 100 interested MINT students as well as graduates were informed directly about their career entry and opportunities at the Fraunhofer Center.

No matter whether it's a student job, a thesis or a scientific employee - the Fraunhofer site in Kaiserslautern offers all the opportunities for a career in science and business. If you want to do research and at the same time work in a business-oriented way, you've come to the right place at our institutes.

In the run-up to the event, we already did a lot of advertising, for example with our career logo DOCH. in the city center of Kaiserslautern.

The highlight of the evening was certainly our Fraunhofer Escape Game. Groups of 8-10 people took up a challenge that required knowledge, technical skills and a strong team spirit. In just 45 minutes, the students had to solve puzzles, combine clues and crack codes together to fend off a hacker attack and save the data on behalf of the German government.

 

Experience Networking and our Institutes

Participants experienced our research live during guided tours of the two institutes and individual sessions on selected projects. Afterwards, the career event ended with joint snacks and drinks and the opportunity for in-depth networking in a relaxed atmosphere with the employees of both Fraunhofer IESE and Fraunhofer ITWM.
